Pier Projects Art Agency is a not-for-profit exploring relationships between visual art, health and the public realm. We commission and support artists to develop projects that interrogate these ideas.
Our interests include;the affective nature of art, approaches to a mind / body connection, art as a form of health behaviour and the sea as a context for these investigations.
At present, our work is located in Felixstowe, Suffolk. Pier Projects was formed by Natalie Pace and Louise Stratford in 2017 and is a registered CIC. www.pierprojects.org
I am Visual Arts Curator for OYA! digital culture consultancy.
I was Curator at Smiths Row in Suffolk (2013-7) where I led on exhibitions and commissions, a public programme and artist support initiatives. Prior to this, I worked in Phnom Penh, Cambodia during which time I co-founded artXprojects, (commissioning artists in public space) and was Visual Arts Curator for 'Our City Festival' which explored urbanism through art and architecture across three cities.
